| About Us: I first got the idea for this website after having met some pastors from different ministries around the world, through the Internet. The first one I had come in contact with was Pastor J. Prahudas from the New Jerusalem Prayer House ministry in India. I was impressed by the wonderful acts of charity and the dedication his ministry had devoted to the task of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We grew to become friends and now pray for one another. I've donated to his ministry and I've encouraged others to do the same. The new Jerusalem Prayer House ministry preaches the gospel to the suffering and all those who would listen, bringing many of them to Christ. Pastor Prahudas' ministry also assists the elderly and conducts conferences for young pastors from all over India. In 2009, the area was devastated by a terrible flood. The pastor ministered to those affected and provided material assistance as well. I have more about him in the ministry portion of this site. A bit later I met Pastor Roman Heidemann from the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of St. Gertrude, located in Russia. His ministry attends to the needs of orphans and a women's prison. At the women's prison, there is a Children's House for children who were born there. Pastor Heidemann's ministry helps to attend to their needs. It is a terrible environment for children to live in and the pastor's ministry does all it can in order to improve their living conditions. Some of the children are even HIV/AIDS infected. The Evangelical Lutheran Parish of St. Gertrude has roots that go all the way back to 1723. It had faced persecution during the communist years and faced obstacles many living in the United States could never imagine. I have more about Pastor Heidemann and the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of St. Gertrude in the ministry portion of the site as well. This website was created for the purpose of advancing Christianity throughout the world. As stated in Mark 16:15, we are instructed to go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. But as we preach the gospel, we should also show the compassion that Jesus himself had shown to the suffering. What better way to act as his ambassadors? It is our hope, as well, that many who come to this site will feel compelled to donate to the various ministries we highlight. As Christians, it is also important that we provide encouragement to one another. Encouragement, however, can come in many forms. Reading about others overcoming their struggles in various parts of the world can serve as a great source of inspiration to those of us with life struggles of our own and may help us in times when we question our own faith. Supporting this site is an easy enough task. You can do that by spreading the word and recommending content. Also, if you see any advertising for a product you would like to purchase, you could go through our site and purchase it. We only ask you to do that for items you would have purchased anyway. It's that simple. Contributing content is also encouraged. People with testimonies or inspirational stories are encouraged to send them in.
